Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating prices and credit terms
  • Input of work to optimise the operations department capability
  • Updating leads to PENTAGON
  • Planning, organising, following up and communicating progress to client effectively
  • Effective management of PENTAGON system & processes
  • Working on continuously improving marketing strategies
  • Developing and updating knowledge of your own and competitors service offerings  Gathering market intelligence / information in terms of freight service opportunities, competitor activities and reports, accordingly
  • Formally present the business proposal
  • Determining customers’ needs and demonstrate Triton’s services to them to suite their requirements, adding value to their business

Job Requirements:

  • Writing progress reports / proposals
  • New business development (prospecting/cold calling)
  • Computer operations
  • Basic understanding of freight processes
  • Account management
  • Advanced selling skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
  • Selling process and techniques
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software applications
  • 3 – 4 Years sales experience
  • Understanding of Freightware or similar management systems
