Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse weekly financial accounts.
  • You are focused on ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the GL by processing monthly journals, preparing reconciliations, cost analysis, inventory reporting and fixed asset register maintenance.
  • Attend monthly stock counts and reconcile stock movements weekly.
  • Plan the cash flow of the bakery and monitor bank accounts.
  • Lead control and monitor the functions of all admin staff
  • Compile annual budgets.
  • You will assist internal and external auditors with information/feedback requested and ensure consistent application of internal controls.
  • Compile year-end accounts and schedules.
  • Implement Financial Standards, Policies and Procedures, and Internal Controls aligned to the Bakeries BMR (Basic Minimum Requirements
  • Review debtor’s aging ledger weekly.

Job Requirements:

  • Control and maintain the budget for admin costs.
  • Maintain high standards of work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Oracle
  • Business analytical skills
  • Weekly and monthly accounts are accurate.
  • Deadlines for monthly and weekly reporting met.
  • Strong communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2-3 years accounting experience
  • Newly Qualified CA or Bcom Accounts degree with 2 to 3 years accounting and administrative in a FMCG environment
