Job Description:
To provide nutritional support and rehabilitation, as well as prevention of nutritional illnesses in the Western subdistrict. Provides support for the nutritional care of the targeted community as part of a multidisciplinary team who render home-based care services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support and training related to nutrition to other members of the team
- Support community-based interventions
- Contribution to the improvement in nutritional status of children aged 0-5 years through targeted Vitamin A supplementation
- Provide nutrition-related health promotion and education
- Contribute to the prevention of nutrition-related diseases, via adequate disease- and/or condition-specific nutrition counselling
- Ensure adequate and optimal feeding is practised for malnourished children aged 0-5 years

- Strong administration skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Completion of community service as a Dietitian
- Must fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Registered with HPCSA
- Clear criminal record
- Degree B.Sc. Dietetics B.Sc. / Dietetics Degree
- Valid Code 08 Drivers licence
