Job Description: The F & B Staff Services Manager will be responsible for supervising all people processes associated with the flexible workforce of “pooled” staff employed to provide F & B and chef services to hotels and conferencing business operations across Sun City, with the aim of ensuring staff are well trained and competent to deliver business objectives in a professional and enthusiastic way in line with operational requirements and quality excellence standards. These responsibilities will include rostering & scheduling of pooled staff, control and authorization of leave, facilitating training needs analyses, coaching and providing training, facilitating disciplinary procedures and managing performance to grow and nurture solid and engaged hospitality talent to support innovative and sustainable hospitality operations. Job Responsibilities: Assess hospitality services team to ensure they have the correct competencies to meet outlet requirements, ensuring any areas of improvement are addressed to maximise staff flexibility Input, review and validate Kronos time sheets and highlight any anomalies, ensuring these are signed off by relevant management Supervise staff conditions of employment, e.g. attendance, absenteeism, leave, adherence to policies and procedures Conduct rostering and duty allocations of staff to meet unit requirements & goals Manage productivities, time & attendance, and payroll costs for the department Handle shift briefings/ handovers/ shift reports / disputes Be the point of contact and liaison between business operations and the pooled hospitality services team for specific business units Facilitate the ongoing accounts management of pooled staff for that business unit operation Provide employee training and coaching on the job with regards subjects relating to the delivery of products, trends and services standards Build relationships with key stakeholders by ensuring that there is full understanding of the unit culture and requirements in the scheduling of staff with correct fit for outlet requirements Manage the day-today co-ordination of pooled staff to support the food & beverage and overall hospitality operations Compile staff workforce plans and deliverables with timelines and activities for the individual units, in line with plans and productivities Job Requirements: Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Micros) Interviewing skills Banqueting / Event Knowledge F & B and Kitchen Standard Operating procedures Verbal and written communication skills Kronos; and knowledge of hospitality scheduling requirements and productivity ratios Team Planning Labour legislation (BCEA, EE, LRA) F & B product knowledge Qualification & Experience: Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and people simultaneously Prior labour brokering experience required Minimum of 6 years of experience working within Food & Beverage, of which 3 years must be at supervisory level National Certificate in supervisory management would be an advantage 3-Year Hotel School Diploma or equivalent national qualification in hospitality at Diploma level Job Details: Company: Sun International Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Rustenburg, North-West, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
