Job Description: The incumbent's primary role is to provide immigration support to new and current international students and to provide support and guidance to international students with regards to South African medical cover membership. On secondary level, the incumbent will support the Senior Coordinator: International Services regarding immigration issues relating to international staff. Job Responsibilities: Providing general administrative support to international students with application for and renewal of SA medical cover membership in support of registration as a student and visa application requirement; Recordkeeping of temporary residence visas, pending cases and timelines for application timeframes pertaining to various countries; Issuing visa letters to outgoing students travelling abroad for conferences; Assisting with the approval of travel documents for ad hoc payments to international students. Temporary Resident Visa Support for international students at SU Issuing letters of no obligation to local students applying for visas.
