Job Description: To manage and develop a team and all other available resources (people, process and systems) within the branch to entrench a strong client-focused culture that will enable high-quality service to all customers. Job Responsibilities: Oversee and drive the review and implementation of all compliance requirements across the team to provide assurance that team operational requirements are aligned to the requirements imposed by regulators and legislation. Attend to the amendment of irregularities found during the audit or risk monitoring process to ensure sufficient controls and standards are implemented and upheld. Assess, identify and monitor all forms of risk and implement and maintain suitable controls across the team activities and operations to ensure effective mitigation of potential risks and adherence to risk management standards to reduce exposure. Oversee the recovery of revenue to ensure that this is done so correctly for all types of transactions or services provided. Drive the achievement of financial aspirations at the point of representation. Lead a team of Universal Bankers according to the lean leadership and employee engagement principles, including employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit, performance management, training and development, discipline and grievance management, retention and reward and people administration, to ensure a high performance culture that will ultimately enhance the customer experience by consistently meeting their demands. Collate and provide relevant information and reports to the required department to assist in the investigation of losses and fraud activity as per internal requirements and procedures and ensure that team members are kept informed about all fraud activities. Action and scrutinise all relevant reports as set out in the laid-down procedures. Qualification & Experience: Type of Qualification: Secondary/High school/A levels/Matric Minimum Qualifications Previous experience in the front line. Knowledge of retail and business products required for understanding the context of stated client demands. Knowledge of the procedures and the interdependencies of the various functions performed in Branch.
