Job Description:

Supports the Head of Life Insurance Propositions in developing solutions for risk businesses across the different channels that the businesses that risk solutions are offered. Supports the Business Units through clear understanding of all data and customer insights that helps in developing optimal customer solutions for our businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess industry trends, market size and structure, competitor benchmarks, and reviews competitor analysis for existing solutions.
• Develops relevant metrics to manage existing business and tracks the metrics to ensure that the business that is in force is managed optimally.
• Regular tracking and reporting of innovative solutions in the market.
• Assists in driving new solutions for the risk businesses across all areas channels in the Bank: Embedded Risk Business, Direct Life Business and Advisory Business
• Facilitates the establishment of the UFSO for risk business by getting in depth understanding of customer needs through data analytics and insights from the underlying
• Standard Bank solutions and utilising the insights to drive good solutions for customers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, Standard Bank senior stakeholders and Liberty stakeholders in facilitating development of innovative risk solutions

Qualification & Experience:

• 5-7 years Actuarial experience within Insurance
• A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
• Must possess the desire and willingness to develop risk insurance solutions and improve customer experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
