Sibanye Stillwater Learnership – Supervisor ETD Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitating section 54 training and evaluations when required
• Presenting relevant training interventions
• Perform follow up audits to ensure effective implementation of training
• Ensuring full compliance with the relevant acts, standards and regulations by equipping learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies
• Managing of the engineering Learnership development programme
• Assessing relevant training interventions
• Providing skills and knowledge training at the operations that support core processes as required
• Support Management to achieve Social and Labour Plan commitments
• Liaising with internal customers to determine internal needs and relevant best practices

Job Requirements:

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have sound knowledge of Management information systems.
• Must be proficient in SCADA development (Wonderware and/or Siemens)
• Have sound knowledge of basic legal, safety, environmental and hazard identification understanding
• Have excellent consulting, facilitation and communication skills.
• Be in possession of an Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Certificate (Formal MQA Learnership programme) or Technical Diploma in instrumentation (N6 or S4).
• Have sound knowledge of record keeping and filling systems
• Must be proficient in PLC’s (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens)
• Should have more than 5 years’ experience in the field of instrumentation in a process control environment.
