Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitating section 54 training and evaluations when required
- Presenting relevant training interventions
- Perform follow up audits to ensure effective implementation of training
- Ensuring full compliance with the relevant acts, standards and regulations by equipping learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies
- Managing of the engineering Learnership development programme
- Assessing relevant training interventions
- Providing skills and knowledge training at the operations that support core processes as required
- Support Management to achieve Social and Labour Plan commitments
- Liaising with internal customers to determine internal needs and relevant best practices
Job Requirements:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have sound knowledge of Management information systems.
- Must be proficient in SCADA development (Wonderware and/or Siemens)
- Have sound knowledge of basic legal, safety, environmental and hazard identification understanding
- Have excellent consulting, facilitation and communication skills.
- Be in possession of an Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Certificate (Formal MQA Learnership programme) or Technical Diploma in instrumentation (N6 or S4).
- Have sound knowledge of record keeping and filling systems
- Must be proficient in PLC’s (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens)
- Should have more than 5 years’ experience in the field of instrumentation in a process control environment.
