Job Responsibilities: Works in a sequence that prioritizes work requirements Conduct on the job induction Applying appropriate tools to complete tasks Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s) Ensure that subordinates have clear work expectations and plans Support, coach and participate in the training and development of subordinates and apprentices Performing work to the required standards and specifications Records results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications of possible conflict Effective two way open communication with subordinates and line supervisor Ensuring effective teamwork Job Requirements: Valid driving license code 08 At least 3 years’ experience as a Boilermaker Artisan / Aide /Apprentice within a mining or plant environment. Be able to do standby and overtime Be English literate (speak, read and write) Have Completed formal Learner ship programme prior to obtaining a Boilermaker artisan trade certificate as recognized by the MQA Be familiar with risk assessments procedures Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
