Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to deliver recruitment service needs: advisory, tactical and strategic to the specific business portfolio being serviced. The Senior Recruitment Consultant conducts a wide range of recruitment across functional areas, from entry through to executive roles. Using the Acquisition framework developed in the Group Talent Solutions space, the role ensures the attraction, selection, and contracting of candidates to achieve business objectives. The role aims to achieve independent recruitment services like business briefing inputs etc to ensure that resource requirements aren’t delayed or interrupted due to recruitment execution. This role works closely with the OE Solutions team to create suitable role profile inputs in conjunction with People Partners and business. This role achieves success by leading and driving an effective, professional, and proficient recruitment experience within the specific business portfolio by engaging in individual role-specific recruitment activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring utilisation of the relevant recruitment tools to ensure a consistent recruitment process and experience for all candidates.
  • Overseeing the provision of support to the specific business portfolio with sourcing, screening, shortlisting of applicants, and the offer management process.
  • Assisting with compiling basic reports for input to broader People requirements.
  • Ensuring accuracy in data input and relevant reports as applicable to the functional area.
  • Overseeing the establishment of a pipeline of candidates to fulfill future business needs within the specific business portfolio.
  • Dependent on the business portfolio, building relationships with recruitment partners, institutions, and other related vendors to enhance the turnaround time and efficiency of the recruitment process and the outcome of successful placements.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience within the FMCG, retail sector, or similar.
  • As relevant to perform the role.
  • 3+ Years in a recruitment consulting role rendering recruitment services to a broad range of functional needs within a business portfolio and/or providing recruitment services within an agency environment.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Grade 12, National Senior Certificate
  • Diploma/Degree in HR, or equivalent
