Job Description:

The successful candidate will work alongside the Divisional People Partner to ensure efficient and effective functional People operational delivery and practice management to the Transpharm division’s business leadership, employees, and other related stakeholders in order to drive the People agenda as aligned with business strategic and operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing People related costs and financial compliance as applicable for the branch.
  • Overseeing the implementation of change initiatives in order to drive adoption of change.
  • Managing employee wellness initiatives in the business branch.
  • Co-creating People solutions with the branch to ensure that all individual, team and organisational imperatives are aligned.
  • Taking accountability for all People related data and system inputs for the branch including the accuracy of organisational structures, reporting lines, location and other People data attributes.
  • Executing against the Divisional People Roadmap.
  • Managing the identification of relevant technology requirements for the People function in the branch to enable a seamless employee experience.
  • Managing employee engagement initiatives for the branch.
  • Delivering end-to-end People services and solutions to the business, including the facilitation and resolution of industrial relations related matters.
  • Driving People operational planning as input into the divisional and branch operational plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be well-organised and have excellent time-management skills.
  • Reliability and the ability to inspire trust.
  • The ability for strategic thinking/ability for critical and analytical thinking.
  • Experience working on SAP systems and WFM (Workforce Management System)
  • Result orientation and willingness to work hard to achieve the goal.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with systems and intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Persuasiveness, the ability to influence other people.
  • Excellent communicator to all levels of management in the company.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business, HR processes, and organizational processes.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Exposure to statutory requirements, applying and monitoring relevant laws, regulations and best practices as they relate to HR in the specific operational context. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legislation and regulations.
  • +3 years in an HR Business Partnering or equivalent role, driving HR delivery of frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidelines and managing HR service delivery.
  • A sound understanding of diversity and inclusion concepts and processes and the link between employment equity and good HR practices.
  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar.
