Job Description:

To provide a legal secretarial service to the Legal Function

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
  • Produce documents dictated electronically
  • Update the departmental Outlook calendar as required
  • Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
  • Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
  • Maintain the Departmental library
  • Conduct any other general administration as required
  • Receive, distribute and dispatch mail in an office environment
  • Process incoming and outgoing telephone calls

Job Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Programs
  • Identify and maintain the types of records required in own industry and understand why it is necessary to create evidence and maintain confidentiality
  • Conduct basic financial transactions
  • Samancor Chrome Systems (IMS, EBMS, Chromedoc, SAP, Coupa, MES)
  • Company Secretarial Experience (vital)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Grade 12 / N3
  • 10 years’ relevant experience
