Job Description:
To provide a legal secretarial service to the Legal Function
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
- Produce documents dictated electronically
- Update the departmental Outlook calendar as required
- Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
- Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
- Maintain the Departmental library
- Conduct any other general administration as required
- Receive, distribute and dispatch mail in an office environment
- Process incoming and outgoing telephone calls
Job Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Programs
- Identify and maintain the types of records required in own industry and understand why it is necessary to create evidence and maintain confidentiality
- Conduct basic financial transactions
- Samancor Chrome Systems (IMS, EBMS, Chromedoc, SAP, Coupa, MES)
- Company Secretarial Experience (vital)
Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12 / N3
- 10 years’ relevant experience
