Job Description:
RCL Foods is seeking an experience and Artisan Assistant to join the Maintenance Team at our Rustenburg Mill. The Artisan Assistant would report to the Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily maintenance, construction work and complying with all safety requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Do mechanical maintenance
- POLICY
- Factory lighting
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations
- React timeously to breakdowns
- Manually grease pellet mill rollers at every shift
- Check sump pumps at minus one at every shift
- Assist artisan overhauling and assembling equipment
- Do daily line inspections and give feedback
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
Job Requirements:
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Willingness to work overtime and Shift work
- Basic hand tools experience
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent literacy and numeric level
- Previous experience in a production environment
