Job Description: Reporting to the Service Manager, the primary purpose of this position is to repair/service vehicles according to dealer/distributor's standards and specifications in the most productive way. Job Responsibilities: Ensure work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy Repair and servicing of vehicles according to dealer/distributor standards and within the flat rate Obtain authorization prior to carrying out any additional work Place all used parts in plastic bag, except oil & fuel filters, and place on passenger floor Note the description of all work performed on the back of Repair Order if required Adhere to laid down workshop policies and procedures Ensure vehicle is kept as clean as possible, and use all protective items supplied Obtain technical information from Service Foreman on problem jobs Establish parts required for service/repair to be performed and ensured correct parts are ordered Advise Management prior to fitting any major parts outside the norm for routine servicing/repair All warranty replaced parts to be tagged according to laid down rules, and handed to Parts Dept.
