Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Debt Management processes are in line with policies and procedures
  • Ensure all records are maintained and updated regularly
  • Implement policies and procedures related to Human Resources
  • Assist with data management and submission of reports
  • Management and submission of Payroll for all components in the institution
  • Ensure that the employment practices i.e. selection, recruitment and appointment verification of qualifications, security checks, transfers and E-Disclosure are in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective employee performance management
  • Identify training needs and implement intervention strategies
  • To check and approve persal transactions and to give guidance to HR Officers in respect of Persal functions
  • Attend meetings, workshops and functions in the capacity as a supervisor.
  • Management of overtime and commuted overtime.
  • Conduct In-service Trainings to HR related matters
  • Supervise and undertake the more complex implementation and maintenance of human resource administration practices.

Job Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of Persal
  • Working procedures in terms of the working environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of the Legislative framework governing the Public Service
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal relations, communication and organizing skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3-5 years Experience in Human Resource Training Development (Proof must be attached)
  • An appropriate three (3) years National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Public Administration/ Public Management
  • Standard 10/Grade 12/Matric
