Job Responsibilities: Submit verbal and written reports timeously to the Hospital Manager Coordinate, Facilitate and implement Quality Improvement Initiatives and Good Governance. Facilitate cost control in the utilization of both human and material resources To ensure control of the selection, recruitment and development of Nursing Staff To execute duties and function with proficiency, in support of aims and strategic objectives of the hospital and of the Department of Health. To provide Leadership and facilitate Strategic Planning, Policy Planning, development and implementation To demonstrate hospital's commitment to quality nursing care and ensure compliance with National Core Standards. Ensure System and processes are in place to support implementation of objectives Facilitate clinical workshops and meetings to update Nursing Staff Advise Hospital Manager and management team on norms and standards of Nursing Practices Ensure compliance with all relevant Legislation including the OHS Act. To ensure control on Disciplinary matters, grievances and labour issues Job Requirements: Sound Management, organization, interpersonal and problem solving skills Working knowledge of the Public Sector Policies, Acts and Regulations Mentorship and supervisory skills Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and Financial Management practices. Knowledge of Labour Relations and Disciplinary procedures and processes Knowledge of Nursing Management Good verbal and written communication skills Qualification & Experience: Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse Current SANC receipt/Annual registration 2025 Degree / Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a General Nurse and Midwife.
