Job Requirements:

• Be self-motivated, energetic and organised
• Have a proven record of innovation, commitment and professionalism
• Have a sound understanding and experience of the CAPS Curriculum
• Have a passion for educating young children
• Have strong organisational, planning, and reporting skills
• Have an ability to teach across the Intermediate Phase
• Be willing to become fully involved in the school’s curricular and co-curricular programmes
• Have the ability to inspire and encourage pupils to seek and maintain high standards of performance
• Have the ability to take initiative and be flexible
• Be forward thinking in the ability to develop new teaching material as a 21st century educator

Qualification & Experience:

• Possess effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Have the ability to use technology to enhance learning
• Hold a 4-year teaching degree
• Have evidence of clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register
• Contribute positively to the Christian ethos and values of the school
• Have SACE accreditation
• Have positive interpersonal skills
