ISASA Teaching Vacancies – Head of the Academic

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend (run?) therapy meetings with regards to the academic progress of every child
• Implement and co-ordinate a whole school philosophy of inclusion, ensuring that we meet the needs of every pupil accepted into the school
• Screen new boys (grade 3 – grade 7) and review diagnostic testing in consultation with the Head of Academics
• Manage all boys school therapists and academic support staff

• Demonstrated ability to model a growth mindset and professional courage
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead people and provide direction
• The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary
• The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications and policies

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 8 years’ academic support experience
• Relevant qualification
• SACE Registration
