Job Description: To supervise the safe and cost effective execution of all surveying work and conduct underground surveys Job Responsibilities: Capital development Ensure an enabling climate and culture Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status. Ensure SHEQ compliance within the team through effective use of the SHEQ Toolbox Ensure discipline is maintained (absenteeism, lateness, overtime, misconduct, etc.) Ensure that mining sections are surveyed up to date Ensure that layouts are done and updated Establish side grade pegs in flat and inclined development ends Coach and counsel employees to ensure improved performance levels Labour compliment in line with budget and EE targets Maintain labour stability by minimising labour turnover Job Requirements: Aligning Performance for Success Flexibility Interpersonal Relationships & Team Supervision Work Standards Business Understanding Communication Operational Problem Solving and Decision Making Qualification & Experience: Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competence (Advantageous). COM Advanced Certificate Survey & Valuation Underground, opencast & surface survey Compilation and checking of reconciliation reports.
