Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and issue state vehicles in line with fleet management policy and systems of Forensic Medical Service. Ensure the completion of Trip-Authorization forms and approval by Facility Management. Co-ordinate the service and maintenance of state vehicles. Coordinate the signing of all maintenance authorisations. Compile monthly utilization report of fleet vehicles. Ensure the control and completion of logbooks and the safekeeping of keys and petrol cards. Ensure proper management of traffic vehicle fines and notices according to relevant policies. Conduct daily vehicle spot checks. File trip forms (sheets) in relevant files. Ensure that vehicles are clean. Assist in preparation of documents for payment of fleet. Monitor and review the capturing of all physical assets in the asset register. Assist in verification of asset and do spot checks in various areas within the facility. Compile documentation for transfer / movement of assets and update the system. Management of losses and reporting thereof. Compile Fleet and Asset Management weekly reports for the Facility Manager and monthly reports for Head Office. Ensure the safeguarding of asset documentations and records.

Job Requirements:

Senior Certificate/ Grade 12 or National Diploma / Degree in Logistics and related qualifications. Relevant experience in fleet and Asset management will be added advantage. Must be computer literate (MS Office). Proof required. A valid driving license. Good interpersonal relations. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadline. Be willing to work in a mortuary environment.
