Job Description:

To provide professional support to both the senior and chief advisor in the execution of communications;  brand & reputation management and stakeholder management function in the province both internally and externally

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement by plan; prepare; implement; and act, review and improve within the designated area.
  • Assisting Corporate Affairs in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying, partnership opportunities and platforms for Eskom to position its brand, corporate social investment opportunities thereby enhancing our reputation.
  • Supporting both Senior and Chief Advisor in implementing Corporate Affairs mandate and functions in the Province in support of the General Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Good co-ordinator and facilitation skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal/ written).
  • Understanding of the modus operandi of press offices, publication houses and media, as well as stakeholder organisations.
  • Broader knowledge of Eskom’s business value chain.
  • Good understanding of the communication discipline.
  • Negotiation and planning skills.
  • Good understanding of Stakeholder Management and Eskom’s.stakeholders landscape.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Bachelor degree would be an advantage
  • A National Diploma.
  • Not a requirement but it would be an advantage
