Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies on identified projects and research on latest technologies
- Contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships and enables exceptional customer service and ethical conduct
- Ensure that work completed is in adherence to governance and legislative requirements
- Implement and manage Energy Master Planning and Projects’ strategies, plans, by-laws, policies and procedures
- Implement and manage the construction and operation of engineering projects within area of responsivity
- Ensure optimum service delivery and high standard of work is delivered
- Monitor service providers’ performance and provide proper reporting through progress and close out reports
- Comply with budget costs, financial regulations, minimize expenditure and prevent financial losses.
Qualification & Experience:
- National Diploma(N/T/S) Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) or equivalent NQF6 Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
- 2 years’ experience in municipal electrical distribution networks planning and design
