Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Post Basic Qualify Pharmacist Assistant for their Glen Marais store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for the patient's medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: Capture script details accurately, and verify patients’ details on the system Explain medical aid costs to patients Provide information to individuals in order to promote health Ensure all medications are checked for accuracy by and signed by a pharmacist Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid Keep abreast of changes in medical aid procedures and requirements for claims and dispensing Give accurate instructions to patients regarding the correct use of medicine supplied Ensure authorisation of chronic, HIV and AIDS and oncology medication Advise and assist patients at the dispensary, self-medication and front-shop Process all paperwork necessary for the accurate submission of claims to medical aids Ensure accurate picking /packing/labelling and checking of medication and be aware of common dosages as well as important drug interactions Follow up with patients regarding script tracking report as requested by the dispensary manager, and follow up on appointments Job Requirements: Sound numerical skills Time management Computer literate – MS Office Able to deal with pressure Team player Trustworthy and honest Problem-solving Qualification & Experience: Computer literate – MS Office Willing and able to work retail hours Sound numerical skills Strong command of the English language and a second language Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate Working experience on Unisolv Grade 12 / Matric Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
