Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist for their Jabulani store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC Evaluation of a patient’s medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety and effectiveness of the therapy The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapy The purchasing, acquiring, importing, keeping, possessing, using, releasing, storage, packaging, re-packaging, supplying or selling of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof Furnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicine The compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof Determining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient’s medicine-related needs are being met Provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting those needs, which shall include, but not be limited to the following functions: The manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine Job Requirements: Customer service/focus Basic dosing and important drug interaction Supervisor experience, and able to lead by example English and second language – Read, write and speak Ability to train other staff members Good communication skills, listening Conflict management Qualification & Experience: Unisolv experience Experience in supervising staff Registered tutor BPharm / equivalent qualification Grade 12 / Matric Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Soweto, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
