Job Description: To provide clinical, programmatic and technical leadership and expertise to strengthen quality and effectiveness of BroadReach Healthcare delivery on the HIV/TB programme in Mpumalanga Province. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate to provide guidance for full monitoring and evaluation of programmes for high-risk HIV negative clients as well as HIV positive adults, Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women (PBFW) and paediatric/adolescent along the HIV continuum of care. Lead expansion of technical support pertaining to HIV clinical and programme management, with greater focus towards prevention (PMTCT & PrEP), ARV optimization, retention in care, viral load: completion & suppression as well as Advanced Clinical Care (ACC), for both adults and paediatric/adolescent populations. Set and guide standards which will form the foundation of quality of HIV prevention, clinical and programme management. Support the analysis, write-up, presentation and expansion of best practices pertaining to HIV programmes across BR supported districts in the province. Collaborate with relevant BroadReach and DoH colleagues at Provincial, District and facility levels to drive performance indicator improvement, using relevant tools and latest guidelines to ensure quality clinical foundation for HIV services. Provide technical expertise on the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based interventions with incorporation of client-specific evidence-based elements towards HIV programmes (incl. PrEP, PMTCT, ARV optimization, ACC, and Paediatric HIV care). Qualification & Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Donor funded programmes Post-graduate Diploma or higher certificate in Clinical HIV Management. Qualified Medical Doctor with a medical degree is essential. Public Health qualification OR Infectious Disease sub-specialization is advantageous. Current registration with HPCSA with valid MPS is essential. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in public health care sector. A minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience, including a minimum of 8 years’ experience in HIV clinical management and 5 years managing advanced cases and/or patients with comorbidities.
