Job Description: Guided by our purpose and our values, we enable both high performance and purposeful action as we aim to “re-imagine mining to improve people’s lives", delivering the metals and minerals that make modern life possible Job Responsibilities: Coordinates and analyses audits to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, specifications and closure plan Establishes and maintains strong relationships with relevant stakeholders To work closely with project managers and project coaches to ensure that Anglo engineering standards, specifications & legal requirements are embedded into the engineering design process. Manage the workforce and couch and develop contractor to meet the standard of Kumba in all their works Manages engineering processes safely, efficiently and cost effectively to meet short term and long-term project objectives in current project and upcoming project in all the project phases Manages resources to deliver targets and projects as required Demonstrates safety leadership, sustainable development and Anglo American values Execute the role of an engineer as defined in regulations 2.13.4.1 in terms of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 Contributes to continuous improvement and asset optimisation initiatives for engineering processes Assist in scope development and management to ensure compliance to Kumba Iron Ore rules, COPs, standards and SOPs To ensure that the Anglo ORM process is followed during project onboarding, execution and close out – including but not limited to Passport 360, JRA / WED , High Risk Work verification, Visible Felt Leadership interactions, audits, inspections etc. Job Requirements: Mining / plant experience in mining as GCC (2.13.1 or 2.13.3.1 appointee) Construction / Engineering Project Management environment.
