Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan SHEQ risk assessments
- Plan and monitor SHEQ training
- Conduct SHEQ incident investigations, root cause analysis and facilitation of learning
- Monitor and improve effectiveness of SHEQ controls
- Manage SHEQ team performance and budget
- Ensure certification and effectiveness of SHEQ management systems (e.g. ISO 45001, PSM)
- SHEQ performance monitoring and reporting
- Provide assurance on SHEQ workplace and legal compliance
- Execute Group and business SHEQ strategy
- Influence business leadership on SHEQ matters
Job Requirements:
- Engagement and interpersonal communication
- Influencing and coaching on SHEQ matters
- SHEQ Systems – Evaluation and integration
- Risk based thinking
- Fosters teamwork and collaboration between functions
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management
- SHEQ Legal knowledge
- Leading and tone setting
- Integration on SHEQ with AECI and other Group Companies
- Strategy application and direction setting
Qualification & Experience:
- Data analysis, interpretation and recommendations
- Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
- Influencing and coaching skills
- 4 year degree (safety, environmental, engineering or equivalent)
- Demonstrated Risk Management Knowledge and Skills
- Presentation and report writing
- 5-8 Years in a Chemical Operating environment
