Job Description: TFG is recruiting for an experienced Business Continuity Manager (BCM) to manage, execute and maintain the Business Continuity (BC) function for Group. The function is part of the broader assurance department in TFG and will work closely with enterprise risk, compliance and internal audit. The assurance function is on an aggressive digitisation journey and there is numerous project which will include this BC function. Job Responsibilities: Identify, assess and categorise the BC risks/threats to business as usual and report them to Enterprise Risk for inclusion in the Group Risk register Ensure that BC operational processes procedures & plans are effective, up to date, rehearsed and meet Governance requirements in full Plan and respond successfully to foreseeable incidents that could significantly interrupt trade and operations across our business e.g. Adverse Weather Be available always to facilitate & support the business response to a Serious Incident or Crisis Engage and involve Senior Stakeholders in the Business Continuity Programme Assess & improve our BC Capability through an ongoing independent Assurance Programme (ISO22301) across our Stores, Offices, warehouses & Supply Chain Maintain the Group BC Strategy & Policy in line with significant Threat, Risk & Organisational changes Ensure that all BIA’s are completed annually alongside I.T Service Continuity, to determine business impact and I.T Applications/System restoration priorities/requirements and are in line with business requirements/risks Ensure the delivery of BC Training Programmes across the Group through Exercising, Desktop Awareness & Training Tools e.g. E-Learning Job Requirements: Ability to act with integrity and provide leadership under pressure in complex, difficult and demanding situations Ability to ruthlessly prioritise business-critical activities in crisis situations Strong stakeholder relationships and awareness Strong leadership across all areas of the business In-depth and detailed knowledge of how retail operates Self-motivated Experience in planning and programme management In-depth understanding of all aspects of Business Continuity Strong and effective engagement, communication and influencing skills Qualification & Experience: Good Networking and Influencing skills, Proven Facilitation and coordination skills Strong Organisational and Planning skills The ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships Advanced MS office skills Ability to remain calm under stress Motivated with the ability to work independently and a deadline driven mind-set Job Details: Company: The Foschini Group - TFG Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
