Job Description: To ensure timeous payment of landlord, managing agent and municipal accounts, avoid penalties and engaging with external parties regarding property expenses which are not aligned to the Lease Agreement. To ensure accurately aged reconciliations are prepared to achieve timeous follow up of overdue items and resolution thereof Job Responsibilities: Check remittances and attach supporting documentation to send to landlords/managing agents, Resolve outstanding reconciling items and action outstanding entries, Record balances and ageing as per landlord/managing agent statements, Perform age analysis by landlord/managing agent and drive clearing thereof, Processing of invoices and ensuring payment thereof, Personal Effectiveness Administer, follow-up and resolve queries, Full adherence to Woolworth’s financial policies and all accepted accounting practises. Deliver high performance consistently, Update Oracle Properties system to produce payments for:- Rentals, Electricity, Municipal Utilities and Rates, etc., Escalate issues and communicate to the Accountant/Manager any non-adherence to procedures and controls, Build and maintain a good relationship with customers and the rest of the team, Identify and communicate any bottlenecks and late documentation, Ensure that all documents are kept in line with WW policy and Legal requirements and properly filed and/or timeously sent for archiving, Qualification & Experience: 1 years reconciliation experience required, Minimum of 1 year Properties experience advantageous Diploma in Accounting (12 month/intermediate stage or equivalent) advantageous, High problem solving ability, Sound understanding of Accounting Systems (Oracle would be advantageous) Strong numeric ability, Computer literacy – Oracle, Excel, Word Job Details: Company: Woolworths Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
