Job Description: To conduct under the direction of the Audit Manager: Retail Bank and Shared Services internal audits for the Retail Bank and Shared Services business units to add value to the organisation (group of companies) and its stakeholders by providing objective and relevant assurance and consulting and by contributing to the effectiveness of governance and control processes. Job Requirements: Management principles to recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of deviations from good business practice Agile methodology and application Data structures and data governance and management Core IT systems and processes in Capitec. Business products, processes, policies, and systems IT systems and data analysis Technology platforms Project management methodology and governance The fundamentals of accounting, economics, commercial law, taxation, finance, quantitative methods and information technology Frameworks (i.e. COSO, COBIT, ISF) Project and product life cycles Qualification & Experience: Experience in project planning and management At least 5 years as an Internal or External Auditor (generalist) within financial services industry Certified Internal Auditor Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Banking Applying business acumen and commercial understanding, specifically in terms of internal audit practices in a banking environment.
