Job Responsibilities: Exercise direct control and supervision of staff. Coordination and compilation of HR reports. Provide training on HR issues to the staff. Render advisory service to institutional management and officials in order to enhance service delivery. Advice management on matters relating to Human Resource Practices and staff relations. Conduct all verification processes i.e. verification of qualification, security checks, reference checks etc. Management of overtime and commuted overtime. Ensure that the employment practices i.e. selection, recruitment and appointment verification of qualifications, security checks, transfers and E-Disclosure are in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures. Management and submission of Payroll for all components in the institution. Job Requirements: Extensive knowledge of computerized personnel and salary systems, MS packages and application thereof. In depth knowledge of Public Service Policies, Acts and Regulations as related to HR Component Communication and interpersonal skills. Sound organizing, planning and problem solving skills. Leadership skills to manage Human Resource Section. Knowledge of Labour relations. Qualification & Experience: Proof of current and previous experience endorsed and stamped by Human Resource Office At least 3 to 5 years experience in Human Resource Management. Degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management /Public Management or Public Administration as recognized by SAQA.
