Job Description:
To measure and examine features of the built and food environment to meet the overall research objectives of the GDAR spaces project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Environment relevant to diet, physical activity and climate change
- Capture and clean data
- Conduct data analysis as and when required
- Use data collection tools (i.e. REDCap) to examine the constructs of the built and natural
- Maintain effective communication with the project team on an on-going basis
Job Requirements:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Willingness to work independently and within a team
- Advanced computer literacy
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of sound ethical practice in the conduct of research
- Excellent organisational skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Honours degree in Public Health, Spatial Epidemiology or Equivalent
- 1-2 years’ work experience in public health or research (experience with spatial mapping will be an added advantage)
