Job Description:
The Senior Specialist: Internal Audit, Technology is responsible for executing Technology and Integrated audits and ad hoc management requests across the Vodacom Group footprint in support of strengthening the control environment. The audit work must be performed in line with the Vodacom Internal Audit methodology and professional standards. Following audit completion, the Senior Specialist will track the agreed management actions to closure. Developing and managing relationships with various client departments across the Vodacom Group footprint will be essential to the success of the role and enable the role-holder to provide input into the audit plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of the annual audit plan in terms of technical audits that should be performed
- Manage and lead technology audit projects
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Produce excellent quality audit work
- Execute annual audit plan
- Execute the approved annual audit plan with minimal supervision
- Lead technical Cyber Security, IT, and Network-related audits
- Follow-up on outstanding audit issues
- Document impactful audit reports
Job Requirements:
- A relevant IT Bachelor Degree (e.g. BSC Computer Science, B.Com Informatics/ B.Com Information Systems)
- IT certification: CISA and CISM, or CISSP (Essential)
- Computer Audit qualifications i.e. CISA and CISM or CISSP – at least 2 of the 3 is essential
- Minimum of 5 years audit experience (Essential)
- Matric/grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent
- Internal Audit experience (Essential)
- Telecommunications industry experience (Advantage)
- 5-7 years audit experience (at least 4 years in Technical /Infrastructure Computer Auditing)
- Relevant postgraduate degree (Advantage)
- Relevant bachelor degree (Essential)
- Cyber security experience (Essential)
