Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with pupils in class time in Grade 1 and 2, supporting differentiation in an inclusive way
• Assist with admissions screening and diagnostic testing
• Attend and provide training, as needed
• Attend weekly therapist and staff meetings
• Support extension of pupils as needed

Job Requirements:

• Highly collaborative approach when interacting with pupils, staff and parents
• Self-motivated and organised
• An ability to engage girls using creative, higher-order thinking strategies
• Ability to support and reflect the ethos and values of the St Peter’s Prep Schools
• Good understanding of literacy and numeracy

Qualification & Experience:

• SACE certificate
• vRelevant foundation phase qualification
• At least 3 years support teaching experience
