Unitrans Learnership – Operational Systems Developer

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a Operational Systems Developer, who has proven Quiksense experinece, to produce logical and technical specifications from functional specifications and writes the code for medium to large applications in netcentric (internet, intranet, extranet) environments. Responsible for coding new and existing systems and relevant databases. The incumbent will be required to carry out systems analyses, coding, program debugging, system testing, security assessments, performance assessments and user interfaces. Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with a team of developers building front-ends • Care and fight for the end-user experience and contribute to raising the baseline of what is the UI/UX industry • Take ownership and responsibility for what you do, the huge creative freedom and ability to influence the project allows for this • Build relationships with developers • Develop new back-end services • Focus on coding and debugging • Build clean and structured code and libraries • Research new tech that will benefit the team, project or client • Integrate user facing elements developed • Communicate effectively with the team locally and internationally • Provide insight and contribute to software architecture • Build Dashboards using Qliksense/Qlikview/Power BI • Nprinting automated dashboards and reports • Data queries using SQL, SP’s API’s etc

Qualification & Experience:

4 year Degree / NQF level 7 • Up to 4 years’ experience • Proven experience in SQL, Qliksense is a must have, Qlikview, Power BI, N-Printing
