Job Description:

Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for an Artisan Plumber who will be Responsible for providing an efficient and effective planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and remedial works programme in a manner that achieves the objectives of the Client, by proactively administering the workplace services in accordance with the Master Service Agreement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote TFS’s & Client’s image and corporate citizenry through deliberate and co-ordinated activities
• Undertake proactive and reactive maintenance tasks and repairs
• Participate in rotational Standby and Call Out schedule, specifically afterhours, week days and weekends, in support of the Client. (Must have own transport).
• Ensure that all jobs are carried out in a safe and competent manner
• Proactively log any maintenance issues you identify at the TFS Helpdesk
• Clean-up work area on completion of a job
• Ensure that all Work Orders are completed prior to submission to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
• Attend to and resolve all client queries timeously or escalate when necessary
• Carry out any duties as required and instructed by the Technical Supervisor/Manager
• Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns and requests about services
• Adhere to the TFS’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all building related issues such as plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry and painting. Including furniture, fittings, fixtures and other equipment
• Work with processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-disciplined, motivated, energetic self-starter with an exemplary work ethos
• Familiarity with building layouts and infrastructures/reticulation
• Resilience: ability to cope with setbacks
• Must be presentable at ALL times
• Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Ability to read and understand reticulation drawings

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
• NQF Level 4/5 technical qualification advantageous (Plumbing/HVAC/Mechanical)
• Matric
• Plumbing experience on medium to large facility systems
• Aircons basic maintenance preferred (not essential)
