Job Description: We are looking for a Forensic Specialist based in our Group Forensics department in Johannesburg. You will manage advanced administrative and criminal investigations to ensure that the risk for our business is contained. Job Responsibilities: Determine key areas of risk & focus using info from whistle-blowing/tip-offs and data analytics Reduce operational risk through recommendations to policies, processes, system or structure changes Raise awareness of TFG’s zero tolerance stance Uses highly developed investigative capabilities to manage risk by: Liaise with law enforcement agencies (SAPS), risk forums, industry bodies and relevant internal stakeholders Ensuring that all investigations are conducted in accordance with accepted forensic methodologies Implement the group forensic strategy to reduce crime committed against TFG, including monetary losses Respond to developing crime trends by recommending action plans Liaises with Operations to reach desired conclusions regarding open cases Coordinate and collaborate on all forensic efforts across the group Job Requirements: Understanding of the Retail environment [advantageous] Decisive and results-driven 7+ years practical experience at a senior level in the investigation of crime (including reactive investigations and pro-active strategies) (essential) Established reputation for integrity, good judgment, fairness and discretion when dealing with staff and external parties Excellent investigative skills Working knowledge of preparing evidence files and interviewing witnesses and suspects A relevant qualification Solid understanding of Criminal Justice and Court proceedings Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation).and interpersonal skills dealing with individuals at various levels Able to work independently with a high degree of flexibility Job Details: Company: The Foschini Group - TFG Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
