Job Description: Develop the strategy for a business area of significant function, anticipating trends and complex challenges and opportunities. Ensure the strategy is successfully implemented and meets long-term business needs. Guide and strategically manage the Partnership team and function, across the multiple Hippo partners and 8 verticals, to ensure the highest level of value delivery to existing partners. Job Responsibilities: Act as subject matter expert in relationship management, commercial management and business development for the organization. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Participate in formulating the strategy and identifying, evaluating, and structuring key transactions to ensure continued financial health and maximum value creation through the entire product life cycle. Transactions may involve alliances, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, and other activities. Identify opportunities for growth through acquisition. Conduct due diligence on the opportunities. Structure and deliver on the opportunity. Oversee management of the ongoing relationship. Identify and manage stakeholders up to C-suite level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions. Set, and lead the delivery of, annual and long-term business performance objectives for a strategic function; manage and report on performance; hold direct reports accountable for achievement of business plans, and take corrective action where necessary to ensure achievement, balancing the need to deliver short term business objectives with the longer term delivery of stakeholder value.
