Job Description:

To manage day to day activities of Universal Bankers (Enterprise) to deliver against defined operational plans and campaigns to achieve sales and revenue targets. To provide proactive sales and service management to Enterprise Direct customers by identifying and implementing value adding financial product solutions from a range of standard offerings. This includes proactively managing and selling to new and existing customers. Facilitate of the team’s outcome by removing obstacles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the team(s) attend to clients, understand what matters to the client and delivers against those demands (i.e. determine the what, why, when, where and how). Ensure that the team(s) take ownership of every demand and provides the client with an immediate response (depending on the nature of the demand) or facilitates the completion of the client demand.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) to ensure adherence to record keeping requirements. Ensure the adherence to all internal and external risk related policies, guidelines, rules and regulations (including
  • limits, Foreign Exchange legislation etc.) Ensure awareness and adherence to the compliance and risk management process to reduce fraud.
  • Set the example and lead the team in line with the Groups leadership identity, core values and People Promise.
  • Enable integrated ways of working and collaboration across the value chain to deliver for the client. Inspire the team to deliver on the Group’s shared purpose and instilling a culture which enables the Group to evolve into a client led platform organisation.
  • Assess and act on the capacity of the team to serve client demand and solve in collaboration with the team. Facilitate the discussion on data with teams and facilitate the improvement of processes and methods based on data. Action and scrutinise relevant reports as per laid-down instructions.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 5-7 years experience in writing motivating and concluding complex lending deals for entrepreneur customers Experience in dealing with business customers at all levels and in managing business relationships.
  • First Degree Field of study: Business Commerce
  • Relevant FAIS Qualification
