Job Responsibilities:
- Apply a feedback framework to give constructive and supportive feedback within a supervisory context
- Teach, mentor, coach, support instructors/facilitators and over-see training coordination.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of a supervisor (understanding the fundamentals of the supervision framework) to foster excellent performance that supports individual and organizational needs.
- Know how to establish and communicate performance standards and expectations using behavioral terms.
- Prepare BI-monthly / monthly segment Team Mobilization L&D Reports.
- Is target focused and meets deadlines; is punctual and keeps to schedule; is reliable in finishing tasks
- Manage communication and roll out of Team based interventions.
- Coordinate post-training evaluations/assessments for individuals and teams.
- Oversee all skills – and team based training interventions.
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review current programmes and make design improvement recommendations to Senior Manager.
- Assist in the development of Team’s based programmes.
- Manages tasks by being organized and methodical; conscientious, diligent, analytic, assertive and sets priorities for tasks
- Is lively and projects enthusiasm; is talkative in making contact; is focused on interacting and networking with people.
- Is determined and decides on actions; willingly assumes responsibility; is definitive and stands by own decision
Job Requirements:
- Have a deep knowledge of the business to articulate what the organization does and how it is done.
- Be in possession of a NQF 6 Diploma in ETDP, Behavioral / Leadership development skills or equivalent mining related qualifications.
- Have several years of proven work experience in a related position is also required.
- Possess required skills or characteristics including excellent coaching skills, creativity, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills; computer literacy, innovative thinking, and good analytical and planning skills.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the NQF/SAQA/MQA and Unit Standards.
- Have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in training environment and 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Have good communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Center.
