Job Responsibilities: The role is to manage the planning, leading, organisation and control of the production within his / her area of responsibility. Promote and develop team effectiveness within the department. Load explosives, set fuses, and detonate explosives to produce desired blasting patterns and rock fragmentation in underground mines. Focus on safe quality of work, achieving of production targets, and housekeeping, supervise and coordinate support functions. Controlling and directing all activities of subordinates within your area of responsibility and as such takes on the role as a coach, mentor and instructor. Also to manage the health & safety of employees, material & discipline Job Requirements: Hold a valid Grade 10 Certificate or equivalent Production Supervisor's Certificate of Competency. Certified Competent A & B Have at least 5 years' experience in Mining Driver's license code 08 and own transport. At least 3 years TMM miner experience in a mechanized underground mine. Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
