Job Responsibilities:

• Allocating resources and equipment according to priorities
• Completing job cards and descriptions of work and spares used
• Adhering to safety standards in the transport environment
• Performing Systems Administration
• Liaising with other teams in area
• Blasting hanging boxes
• Performing Shaft Maintenance
• Communicating resource requirements
• Compiling accurate shift and work order reports
• Raising stock requisitions for materials required
• Blasting in decline area
• Completing and signing off allocated work orders
• Communicating operational problems to appropriate supervisor or manager

Job Requirements:

• Have a Valid driving license code 08
• Be in possession of Onsetter certificate
• Have a Blasting certificate
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at a relevant Sibanye Gold Occupational Health Centre
• Be Certified Competent as Shaft Timberman
