Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate accident / incident investigations
• Compile reports
• Stop work if unsafe and coach the team
• Short term Operational Unit planning
• Collect and analyse task team safety data
• Check corrective action status
• Development of planning schedules
• Carry out statutory inspections (21, 30, 45, 90 days)

Job Requirements:

• Have own transport and a valid driver’s license
• Have knowledge of Presentation / Facilitation/ Training and planning
• Hold a relevant/ valid SAMTRAC / COMSOC or similar Safety qualification
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
• Have Grade 12 Certificate or Equivalent
• Have a valid Blasting or Trade Certificate
• Have knowledge of Accident investigation
• Have 3 Years relevant Mining / Process / Engineering/ Training experience
• Be Computer literate (MS Office and Projects)
