Job Responsibilities:

• Geological hazard identification and reporting
• Managing underground mapping
• Adherence to QAQC protocols
• Contributing to mine planning
• Training and mentorship of junior staff
• To log boreholes, incorporate and distribute information

Job Requirements:

• Be self-motivated with good interpersonal and English communication skills
• Hold a valid Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Mine RP/Micro station user
• Have good background in structural geology and sedimentology
• Be in possession of a valid BSc Hons Geology
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater
• Occupational Health Centre
• Have good database management skills
• Datamine modelling
• Have at least one year relevant mining geology experience
