Job Description:
Management of the maintenance process in area of responsibility to enable mining teams to reach production targets within the principles of QCDSM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Risk assessment and SOPs
- Experience of Sasol Mining processes and methods with specific reference to the underground environment
- Proven track record
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Organisation of activities in a production section.
- specific experience required
- Proven experience of underground Sasol Mining activities.
- Identify ISO standards
- Ensure that COPs and SOPs are understood and adhered to
- Manage, control and maintain equipment in area of responsibility
- Maintenance of underground Sasol Mining equipment.
- Safety management and risk assessment
Job Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive QCDSM
- PLC
- Ability to plan, co-ordinate and control all activities
- Strategic planning-innovation assessment
- Computer Literate
- Conceptual ability in terms of Problem Solving and Decision Making
Qualification & Experience:
- Valid drivers’ license
- Gas Testing
- First Aid
- Valid Red Ticket
- Grade 12 with Maths & Science
