Job Responsibilities:

  • Continuously enforce procurement policies and practices within the org unit to promote standardisation. Align efforts with group as well as Org Unit saving priorities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Supply Chain functional strategies and policies (align with Group Supply Chain).
  • Ensure demand planning is and Supply Chain execution Plan are aligned to ensure satisfactory service delivery.
  • To manage the escalation resolution for services and goods procurement and be the interface with the org unit into key Procurement (South Africa Shared Services) and functional core stakeholders
  • Manage and train end-users with regards to PtP process.
  • Oversee the execution of expediting and procurement administration activities
  • To interface with Category Management on roll out of contracts. Set up sessions between end users and category managers and or procurement advisor to roll out complex contracts.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding the rules, regulations, sanctions and other statutory requirements, guidelines and instructions relating to governing bodies and organizations, both internally and externally
  • Ability to know when and what decisions should be made and to make several decisions simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • The action of working with someone to produce something
  • A continuing focus on the needs and requirements of customers and clients, anticipating their needs, remaining sensitive to customers while
  • performing services for them, responsive to customer needs.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 6+ relevant years
  • University Bacherlor’s Degree
