Job Responsibilities:
- To manage a portfolio of clients by managing activities per service level agreement, schedule and requested tasks;
- Perform individual, interest and ad hoc actuarial calculations
- Perform IAS19 valuations
- Carry out Decrement investigations
- Complete Section 14 certificates
- Perform defined benefit and defined contribution (DC) valuations, prepare valuation reports and presentations
- To deliver contracted services ensuring quantity, quality and turnaround times are met:
- Solving ad hoc pension scheme problems using actuarial models;
- Prepare FSCA query response letters
- Replacement ratio calculations
- Perform Self-insurance schemes’ profitability and pricing assessments
- Perform annuity calculations and pensioner valuations
Job Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to interact and present to Boards of Trustees
- Able to work with big data
- Passion for Employee Benefits (Pensions) Actuarial Consulting.
- Ability to organize and prioritize
Qualification & Experience:
- Good progress with actuarial exams: (Almost) completed the foundation and intermediate technical subjects including Contingencies
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years’ relevant experience
