Job Responsibilities:
Actively drive and implement the Demand Planning Logistics Centralized Process (LCP) routines•Compile and present in the Demand Review to senior stakeholders monthly to support one number to be signed off for the business•Use SKU segmentation incorporating SKU value and sales volatility to support focus on relevant SKUs in the Demand Review conversation•Prepare applicable sections in Supply Review & Exec S&OP, and weekly demand publishes as well as S&OE•Preparation, analysis and implementation of recommendations of data (master data, aggregation rules, segmentation (ABCD analytics), internal/external demand drivers, normalisation)•Generate Statistical Forecast (best fit models run over appropriate horizons and disaggregation)•Conduct analytics to establish which SKU’s should be touchless (stats driven only)•Propose, agree and implement Commercial Enrichment/Collaboration (commercial/marketing calendars, events, promotions, NPDs, disconts, collaboration forums set up and driven)•Prepare and support Performance Tracking and Analysis (forecast accuracy, bias, forecast value add, obsolescence, scenarios, gap closing initiatives)•Support countries with a quarterly Portfolio Health check in Product Review
Job Requirements:
Effective numeracy and analytical skills & problem solving at both operational and tactical levels•Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity•Good communicator across all levels within and external to the organisation•Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organisation•Excellent self management practices with a pro-active, energetic and committed approach•Excellent presentation and report drafting skills•
Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should have a 3 year Bachelor level degree in Sciences or Commercial or similar degree or equivalent tertiary education•Ideal candidate should have between 3 – 5 years experience in the sales/marketing planning or supply chain disciplines in an FMCG environment
