Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to lead Regional and National customer negotiations aligned to RCL FOODS objectives, support the NAM in the smooth running of a portfolio of accounts and proactively manage all administrative tasks in a timely and anticipatory manner to ensure that both internal and external customer needs are fully met. As well as, lead and implement RCL FOODS commercial objectives within dedicated accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate the financial implications of all product changes.
  • Undertake competitive market research on a regular basis.
  • Seek out and pursue line extensions, new channels, and new business.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations to facilitate customer business reviews, new product placement, and promotional activities.
  • Participate in sales volumes forecasting and demand management.
  • Develop optimal promotional plans and manage promotional investments.
  • Implement/negotiate RCL FOODS pricing objectives within dedicated accounts.
  • Liaise with Marketing and monitor market trends, competitive activities, and new products.
  • Attend corporate meetings with the NAM.
  • Assist the National Account Manager with the development of the strategy and account plans.
  • Plan and coordinate quarterly head office interactions with the National Account manager.
  • Monitor and report sales performance by customers.
  • Assist in developing commercial relationships with key national accounts

Qualification & Experience:

  • Valid Code EB drivers’ license
  • Marketing or Business Management degree or diploma (degree preferable)
  • 3 years of relevant experience
