Job Description:

We at RCL FOODS are in search of an HR Practitioner to join our Groceries Business Unit. The role will be based in Krugersdorp and report to the HR Business Partner. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to ensure effective Human Resources support to the business unit/factory through adequate delivery of HR services, practices, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate planned and unplanned OD initiatives
  • Record all OD activities for WSP.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of employee records relating to contracts, remuneration, allowances, leave, training and performance appraisals and prepare associated management reports.
  • Represent HR and meaningfully input at OHS monthly forum.
  • Ensure statutory compliance to BCEA, LRA, SDA and OHS Act
  • Counsel employees on policies and rules relating to employment policies and programmes, and on the company’s rules and regulations.
  • Analyse the skills and qualities required for each particular job and develop job profiles.
  • Prepare and process employment and personnel reports and surveys.
  • Provide input for statutory reporting (IOD and WCA).
  • Manage terminations and exit interviews.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Human Resources
  • Valid Driver’s License, vehicle & willing to travel
  • Experience in dealing with unions
  • 3 – 4 HR Generalist Experience & wide exposure to ER
  • CCMA (Conciliation and Arbitration) experience
  • Overtime tracking understanding and capability
  • Experience in working and dealing with TES (Casual workers/labor broker)
